I've been taking my children here for 2 years to see Dr. Faber and she was excellent. We loves her. She recently left and we've had to see 2 other doctors here, Dr Natalie Blum and Dr George Blum. Natalie is a very new doctor so I didn't really let it bother me that much when she said a couple comments about our diet (we are vegetarian with no cow milk). However, this last visit, Dr Blum was so rude to me. He told me that I need to feed my kids dairy or I was going to give them osteoporosis. He wasn't educated in other forms... read more
After many go around with the office staff about a bill that was incorrectly submitted by the office staff we decided to leave the practice. Our pediatrician moved to this office not long ago so we followed him. Unfortunately we have made the decision to leave because of the lack of service the office staff has provided. We are so upset to leave our doctor but the zero care from the front desk manager has made our decision.
I recently received a letter stating they would no longer accept unvaccinated children. In my opinion it's a direct violation of my right to choose what is best for my child. They are trying to force you to make a decision that goes against your beliefs just to stay with their office. I don't agree and will it be bringing my daughter or nephew back to there. The verbiage of the letter was harsh although they tried to clean it up at the end.
Forcing vaccinations is unethical & disgusting. My son was vaccine injured by the Hep B vaccine & even his pro vaccine physician says he should not be vaccinated further. He also has a life threatening egg allergy. I’m sure that you’re aware that MANY vaccinations are created using egg proteins. Do you realize that a child can go into anaphylactic shock if given these vaccinations? How many people know that their child has such an allergy before age one, which is the recommended age to give a child eggs? People do your own r... read more
I received the email yesterday from Sfld pediatrics. It was shocking and left room for interpretation. I’ve did research and I feel comfortable providing some vaccines to my children. Then there are others: for example rotavirus, flu, HPV in which Doctors use fear tactics to push or constantly advertise on behalf of. I am very disappointed in your decision to change your Pro Choice vaccination policy My children have been patients at this practice for some time and I loved your your Pediatrician’s especially Dr. T but you have lost my children as patients because you can’t respect my beliefs and decision to not vaccinate! RecommendedI have been with this practice since 1992, when my 1st son was born. As my 3rd is now 18, I'm saddened to be leaving. I have enjoyed each doctor in the practice. Each have given care and expertise to my children. As my daughter has had different ailments over time, they've also been great with the specialty referrals we've had. Thank you all, Doctors AND secondary staff, for love and care of my children.
I was really looking forward to consulting with an osteopathic doctor instead of an MD for our individual family needs. I had an appointment with Dr. Metz today at 12:40pm and came in about 15 minutes early because this was my first time here. I waited until about 12:55pm before I realized that my time is just as valuable as the doctor and left. It’s a shame that most doctors do not respect patients...especially new ones.
Dr. Bobby! We've been with him for over 10 years. He's thoughtful. He listens. He allows you to have an opinion. When one of my children was ill with something unusual, he even followed up by calling us at home -- just to see how he was doing. When he's not around, we've been pleased with the care we've received from the other doctors. Most recently, my son had what turned out to be appendicitis, and the doctor wasn't convinced, but took the extra steps of scheduling tests just to make sure. I'm glad she did!
