The newest SouthernMED Pediatrics office in Southeast Columbia on Garners Ferry Rd will open on January 6, 2020! We will open in a temporary building as we search for a more permanent location that will better accommodate our patients. Dr. John Carroll and Dr. Tom Brady, formerly with Children's Choice Pediatrics, bring a wealth of pediatrics experience to the Southeast Columbia community. We welcome you to come and meet our team!

5 minutes in waiting area. Dr. Knows how to communicate with my children. The children left with happy faces. Sr. Mason needed referrals. Will continue children with this provider
This office staff is rude. They'll refuse to see your child and won't explain why. We've been taking him here since he was born. For years. Now, without notice, anytime a call is made to set an appointment, the staff simply forwards you to a nameless voicemail inbox without any answers. Any attempts to hang up and call them back are met with passive-aggressive forwarding of your call. We've been nothing but polite to their staff. They also charge for medical record transfers. Terrible service. Steer clear of this practice!
Very sloppy and disorganized staff. The nurses will also prescribe the same antibiotics over and over again. I highly suggest seeking care elsewhere for your child. This particular location advised we take our child to an ER instead of have a nurse send his script over to the pharmacy for his nebulizer refill. Medical Records staff will also charge fees to send your child's records to school or another doctors office. This is the run of the mill office, they will not learn your child's face or name here.
Dr. Carroll was incredible with our sons! Attentive, helpful and kind. We had a great experience and highly recommend Southern Med.
