The poor rating is due to the nurse Amberly that was assigned to my mothers care. She is hypocritical and demeaning. Due to her and her antics, I revocated the service. Her nurse manager uphold her in her antics, as well so it was no changing nurses. The chaplain was great and the social worker was, as well. If you use this company do NOT accept Amberly as your nurse. Fair warning.

Overall I would say Southern Care Hospice is great they took really good care of my mom during the short time she was with them. I’m not sure if this is mandatory, but my only complaint would be they never called on the family afterwards no follow up call. It was like she passed ok now we are done with y’all. Other than that it was a good experience.
Southern Hospice was amazing. They took care of my mom for years and we could not have been happier or had a better experience. Everyone and I mean everyone from nurses to CNA's etc. were wonderful. We truly could not have been happier and I hope to never need their services again but if we do they will be the only company we use.
