Perfect for typical kids and those with special needs!!! We have four kids ages 6 and under, so we took the process of choosing a dentist here pretty seriously. Southern Smiles came very highly recommended by so many friends, and now it's easy to see why. My 6 year old son and 4 year old daughter have loved it from day one. The whole place from the waiting room to the back room is made for kids, and the girls that work there are amazing in how well they work with kids and in how well they do their jobs. Today was my sons first dental appointment and I absolutely LOVED Dr Perry and April and the whole staff at Southern! He was very apprehensive and cried during the exam but both Dr Perry and April were wonderful with him! After we got in the car he said "I like the dentist! I got a dinosaur!"
This is by far the BEST pediatric dentistry you'll find! The staff is so sweet and amazing with the kids! There is absolutely no pressure put on the parents or child! And Dr. Perry is as sweet as they come! She takes her time with you and makes you feel so comfortable. And to any parent (especially one with a scared child) that means the world! My kids love her! They actually get excited to go to the dentist now!
I have a daughter with autism who can be less than cooperative with anything aimed towards her mouth. We are so blessed to have the amazing, understanding, and overall awesome staff at Southern Smiles! Thanks so much for caring for and accepting my daughter and her disability. It is appreciated more than you'll ever know...
