Disappointing. Major construction not disclosed. Room needs maintenance.
Lord, help you if a natural disaster occurs and you dont have the money to go on vacation. You think you're covered with their $100 dollar insurance, no your not! They give you 5% of your money back for $100 dollars. They're not going to give you a penny back period. Companies like this will go under because they have no heart period. I would never go through them knowing how they treated me and my family, and if you really want to find out about Southern Vacation Rentals, go to Yelp for a whopping 1.5 stars!
We stayed at Destin West Heron #306. We could not get into the room upon arrival since the door code would not work, when I called them they kept putting me on hold while we waited 10 minutes in the heat. We finally got in our room, took off our shoes, to find shortly after the bottoms of our feet were black from the dirty floors. There were hairs in the sinks too.
