This place is AWFUL!!! I found out I had a serious issue with my liver and spleen after Dr. Angelo (sp) checked my CT scan and said everything was FINE!!!!!! Thanks to him, I have to go to Cleveland Clinic....
I waited over six hours to be seen in the ER. There were approximately 10 people in the waiting area. We all waited. They said there had been a wreck. Apparently, they can't handle more than one emergency. I will not come here ever again.
my family has been dealing with somc well for as long as I can remember,my parents delt with them but lets face it its an hospital that's what they are there for right wrong two months ago my wife and my son were in an car wreck my son was taken from us my wife was so broken up I'm literally her left side was broke head to toe and the people in the rehab unit was so diligent in their work ,made her os comfortable in working with her I my self had to stay with her she wanted me to stay by her side they said no prob we were in... read more
Received excellent care from everyone we dealt with. Was very nervous and they put me completely at ease.
SOMC has went above and beyond to take great care of me
I have had nothing but caring and doting nurses and drs and staff take care of me from same day surgery to recovery to SCVU unit. I have always had great care from SOMC.
SOMC pediatric is a disgrace. I was informed because I wasn't bringing all my kids to see their doctors don't be surprised if next time you call for an appointment we don't take your child anymore. Word for word. Took everything in me to keep my mouth shut & have a cooling off period. Who do they think they are ? Pretty sad if you ask me. The all mighty $$ wins again. So they thought I should move the other 3 who have another doctor because they won't accept Amelia anymore well guess what I'll never darken their doors again.... read more
Had not been there for awhile but had a major problem come up! From the minute I entered tues thru Friday was treated like royalty! I was always taken seriously and very soon found out my life was in danger ! Everyone was courteous and professional! Tests were run and was operated on the next day by noon! I prayed and said do what you have to and they all did! Mom was greeted by friendly helpful staff that showed us where we needed and a valet even parked our car! By 11 am she was being wheeled into surgery and by 1 pm we were on our way home.
