Get directionsAfter 2 back surgeries in Columbus my back pain has suddenly gotten worse again. Dr Baldershot, my neurosurgeon ordered x rays of my lower back again 5/27/16 which I had done.at SOMC. I was in and out and they provided professional and friendly care. That being said, I hate hospitals and hope to never see them again.
We are from out of town and I required emergency surgery. The staff were all terrific, but several were outstanding. Jonathan, an ER nurse, was amazing. He took great care of me, put me at ease, and had a great bedside manner. In spite of being in pain, it was an excellent experience. Then my day nurse, Sam, was incredible. Her concern and care for me and my family when they came up to visit was above and beyond. She was terrific and I couldn't have asked for better care!
1 is too high have been setting in the er for 5 hrs, brought mother in when her sugar was over 480 this am and I'm still setting here with her, desk person has been rude and no help I would drive to Ashland before coming here again
If I could rate in the negative, I would. My boyfriend just took his 8 yr old to the urgent care complaining of neck pain and fever. She was given a strep test and a flu test, both negative. They put a mask on her and told him to drive her to the main ER because she may have meningitis. He got there, a NP saw her, done a chest xray, said she was wheezing and had an upper respiratory infection, but it was viral. No antibiotics, no blood work. Sent home. I am a paramedic. I have transported hundreds of kids, not as sick as her... read more
Much improvement needed here. So sad
This place is where doctors who can't get hired anywhere else go. A friends grandma went in with the flu and they told her she needed immediate open heart surgery, went to get 2nd opinion and only had bronchitis. This place just wants to charge the insurance company as much as possible and dont care about their patients.
The nursing staff in ICU are great. I cannot brag enough about the care they've given to my Uncle, as well as making sure the family is well informed and taken care of.
We just keep winning Awards...so very good things must be happening here!
