Southern oaks is my first apartment and I absolutely love it here! Last summer when I was looking for my first apartment, I looked at quite a few apartments and when I went and toured southern oaks, Bethany made me feel at home immediately. This was my first apartment and I had it for years, until management change; That’s when they took my life from me. If you want to be robbed of happiness and life, move here if you want to be at peace avoid this place like the plague. I’ll never forget how fake these people were, making me believe they cared when all they cared about is money and a quota to make. Every lie they told me I believed and with that I lost my life. I left a pretty bad review about 3 years ago. I’ve been meaning to edit and remove the bad one and replace it with a new one. The (not so new anymore) management and staff are very attentive and helpful. We continued to stay after I left a bad review, despite old management, because we really do love the complex. And the current management makes it that much better. They respond quickly and try everything in their power to make it feel like home. Maintenance has always been on top of things as well. At first the place seemed great, signed a year lease. This review is to not reflect the leasing office or its employees as they have been patient and answered any questions I have had. Upon moving in I noticed the apartment had not been very thoroughly cleaned. I found a two year expired box of cosmic brownies in the pantry in the kitchen, an unfinished black n mild on the balcony.
