Very sketchy place, would not reccomend renting from them. They are not very direct on their word and change little things they say to screw you out of money. Completely lost $750 just to say i wanted to move in… Had i realized that’s where that was going i would’ve never came here. Instead they told me it was a security deposit, and even last week told me it was a security deposit, but now apparently it’s a “Holding Fee.” So over this place wouldn’t recommend. Don't move here!! I'm paying more here than I did at my old apartment to have more problems than before, there's only two maintenance guys in the complex, and they hire cheap plumbers, painters, maids, etc. I was told when I moved in that everything would be ready to go and the washer was broken, there was mold above my shower from a leaking pipe that still isn't fixed, the AC doesn't work, my breezeway and back patio was supposed to be power washed weeks ago and it never happened, messy paint job, nasty pool, dirty gym, not... read more
Lived here for four years, then relocated. I just moved back, and I’m happy to be home. 10/10 all around. Southern Oaks is unmatched, I love it here.
i am a returning resident and i am SO so happy i'm back at southern oaks. i was able to apply and secure my apartment within days with help from Bethany and Maegan which meant a lot to me. this was the only complex i was interested in applying for because i know its a safe complex and i was happy with my previous stay here in 2023. it is a perfect sized apartment for myself and my two small dogs. i was excited to see Ronnie the maintenance man is still working here. as a single female, i always felt comfortable with ronnie w... read more
