Food is good, nice idea to be able to choose one's own steak and cook it. My five year old granddaughter wanted to try and win on the machine with the claw. Twice she had hold of the little horse she was desperate to get; however both times right before the drop zone the claws opened and she lost it. She was so heartbroken and was crying uncontrollably. The ribs were tough and fatty and the entertainment was listening to a LINE dance teacher! It was aweful!
Southern Junction doesn't pretend to be anything it's not. Good staff, simple appointments, and you can cook your own steak if you chose to have dinner there. Sound system is good, lots of good live music, and plenty of room on the dance floor. Tends to be a bit smokey, but it's a bar...it's not unexpected. You should give it a try and see if it's for you rather than reading my personal opinion.
Love this place! Love meeting up with our friends from all our the area and having dinner and dancing! The music is always great!!
Had a great time and the music was great, first time we have been but it will not be the last.
