Zero stars. We mistakenly allowed Ultimate Gutter Guard to replace our shower stall due to rotting flooring. The salesman misrepresented their capabilities and sold us something they could not provide. We were deceived. Nothing stated on their website has proven true. We expressed our dissatisfaction with the work performed, and they promised us an acceptable resolution. We heard nothing until today. Nearly a YEAR later, we receive a bill requesting payment due in April. Anyone know a good Consumer Rights Lawyer?
We used Southern Siding and Windows ( Lexington/Columbia area) to replace our homes windows and vinyl siding. I can not praise the crew that came out and did the windows enough. They were quick, efficient and very professional. However, the siding has been a totally different experience. First it took the crew over four weeks to complete a one week job and if I had not called to complain would have taken them even longer. A sales rep came to my house ************ at my telephone request to give me a quote for replacement of all windows in my home. He gave me a written quote. I told him I wanted to decide on the color over the weekend. He left his number with our agreement that I would call him in two days. Contacted the business located at in Charlotte NC for a free quote. Explained the job was for a screen enclosure. Appointment set for the next day a noon. 30 minutes later I get a "confirmation" call from a female company representative asking my marital status and whether or not I was the home owner. Offensive as this is, she was told anyone making the decision would be available for the appointment. I don't like writing reviews but I had to for Southern Siding, They did everything they said and more. Visit their web page for details. Starting with the product- ****** ****** our sales specialist explained the difference between material used here and with regular siding found at ***** or ********** No comparison and Southern Siding has a 5 year labor warranty with a 10 year follow up inspection. I am very and totally disappointed in Southern Industries, (COLUMBIA Region). Back in August I contracted them to install gutters and railings for my front porch. The gutters were installed with no problem. The railings which is a small job consisting of a 4', 11' 2-2' and railing going down the steps. It took him THREE days to install. The 2-3x3 post and 7 of the small post for the railings were all scratched up and the response to that was to use touch up paint. Mind you this is a brand new railing being installed.
