Used the women's imaging center for decades. After the last mammo I was recommend a follow up image, and did so, and then recommended a biopsy. However, in this big @$$ hospital, they don't do biopsies in Kissimmee anymore, & this big @$$ medical system can't tell me which of their faculties does biopsies, and I am still waiting to hear back from them. Scheduled a biopsy with another heath system, and ORMC is now jacking me around about releasing my medical record. Pretty much dysfunctional top to bottom & A-Z.
For the most part, the doctors, nurses, and staff that took care of me were fantastic. However, the PA at McDowell hospital was incompetent. She didn't want to do a simple blood test because it "wouldn't tell me much" I insisted on the test. Turns out I had sepsis that cause a bunch of other issues, 5 surgeries, and 8 1/2 months in and out of the hospital. If I had not been a nurse myself and known what to ask for, I probably would have died.

I had a Peripheral and LH Cath today at St David on 32,ST in Austin my experience was totally excellent from the time I arrived until I departed . Everyone was right on time or even a little bit early .I met a nurse that was top shelf all the stars you can give her Marcy Sendejo. From the first time she brought us to the room until she took me out to the car to go home. The most caring, polite , her compassion and kindness toward us are more pow... read more
-given medications I am allergic to 2x -given food I am allergic to 4x the first 24 hours in ICU - lost expensive medication I was instructed to bring to my surgery - a lot of talk of replacing the inhaler, but it has not occurred The ICU nursing staff is excellent. But with the above issues occurring that were out of their control, I would never return unless brought unconscious by ambulance. A "for profit" hospital should do better than JPS.

I'm only giving this 2-star rating due to the nursing staff, who were excellent and completely Outstanding... The other three stars I didn't provide were because not long ago, I was admitted for a pretty bad pseudomonas infection at the E.R. here. Which I admit wasn't bad. However, I was then assigned to a floor under the care of Dr. Darvish, with whom I had had a couple of issues before. I'm a permanently disabled paraplegic.. Find another hospital!The care is horrible and my spouse is back again from the sister hospital and still no diagnosis of why blood clots.Having to wait months for test results from the prescribed hematology dr.He asked for a pillow and was told oh they dont have any available wth.He is scheduled for a procedure in the morning and know idea what procedure no one knows this place is a typical horrible HCA
