From the beginning the nursing staff was horrible. My family has been there for 7 days so far and on 2 different floors. Just kept giving IV pain meds to keep him “floored” to just sleep. First floor no communication whatsoever and when you asked questions about the plan of care you were told “ I don’t know”. Was in for ERCP. Ended up with pancreatitis after the stent placed. Saturday was mine and my wife's first time to use this facility. It is far an away the best ER we have ever been too. The staff was extremely good. the Dr and Nurses we excellent. We both were in for different reasons and both came away that this is the place to for emergency and even for regular medical treatment. My wife has better insurance them me so no copay for her. they have everything there and don't waste time. I needed chest exray to rule out pneumonia and they had a portable unit in the room in minutes. I can g... read more

If I could give this place zero stars I would! Don't go to this hospital. They will treat you like a junkie and send you home to die.

How this place can be called a hospital is beyond me. I had to be taken there by ambulance with chest pain two years ago. I was accused of being a drug addict even after my urine was checked multiple times them treated like I was a stray dog to kick around by a fake nurse named Patty red hair probably in her 60s looked to be about 75. Patty made it her mission to try and prove I was faking my illness. Had they of diagnosed me properly instead of listening to Patty I wouldn't be in a situation of having a terminal illness. I went to this hospital? After going to there new emergency care in Longwood. They were great. When there ambulance arrived and took me to their hospital, everything changed. Taken to my room told 10 minutes or so doctor and nurse would be in. An hour passed and my wife had to get them. I told the doctor I had once be infected with serious infectious diseases and needed to be put on antibiotics whenever I stay overnight, he laughed. Had pain in center of chest. Went to there new emergency care center in Longwood, wonderful folks. They had there private ambulance pick me up again super young ladies. Put me in my room said it would be 10or15 minutes for doctor to come in. One hour later they finally showed up. They looked at me with pure hatred, just a side note I hold 2 PHD in law and have sat on the bench state and federal. Took daughter to Pediatric ER with debilitating Abdominal pain. The 'doctor' asked if she had eaten anything, she only had her morning vitamins (which she has every morning and doesn't eat with them) The doctor didn't look any further and said, oh, that's it, we will run a urine on her and get her out of here, if she gets worse just bring her back. My husband had an order for a Doppler because doctor suspected blood clots and we had no insurance but even though we offered to make a payment at that time, even without knowing they still denied to do the Doppler on my husband. If anything happens to my husband and he has blood clots I will hold Fairview responsible. I’m in the medical field and the staff was rude and very unprofessional. Shame on you and not taking care of people when it’s life or death.
