Great food! Love going here! We've had bad service almost every time. I wish there was a younger more knowledgeable waitstaff.
Love the stuffed jalapeños!!!! They are always super accomadating and go out of their way for anything we need as guests.
We had lunch there for the first time. The food was very good with very, very generous portions. And there was a wonderful variety of delicious desserts. That really impressed me, because I am definitely a dessert person and most restaurants only have two or three items to offer. They had coconut cake and sugar cookies, two of my favorites!
We love Southern Grill. My son thinks this is the best restaurant ever. It's good comfort food. We've never had any of the issues that were listed on this site.

Last night 6 of us went to dinner, and had a wonderful night. The food was so good, we all took home take out boxes, as there is so much food on your plate. Even the presentation was good. Atmosphere and waitress was the best. I am excited that we have this new restaurant in Denison. Their menu has such a variety of foods. Even Shepherds pie. Have not seen that on a menu for years. All 6 of us raved about our experience. Good job
Terrible wait staff. Very untrained. Will not be here long if management does not train staff in how to serve its customers.
We have dined in 2 times and had take out 1 time. The food has always been very good. The portions are very generous. The service when we dined in was slow and not well organized. With take out it was ready fast.
After an hour wait, our fish and fries tasted awful; clearly cooked in a bad batter and in grease that had been burned. Awful. Glasses were clean, but spotty; burger also had a burned taste. Service was OK, and staff was apologetic; but a very disappointing 3 hour ordeal... especially since we left without eating and paid for it anyway. The restaurant was very busy, so maybe it would be different if you go during the week as opposed to the week-end.
