Southern Foods-been a customer for 20 years and counting Hello Mr. Pounder, Just a short note to let you know that my Southern Foods order arrived in perfect condition. FedEx put it under my carport as I had requested. He said that was his fourth delivery that day-very nice man. Everything I ordered was there and packed very good in the dry ice. Southern Foods-dining in style since becoming a customer Dear Mr. Pounders, Dining in style...that's what we're doing now in our HH since becoming a customer. I have been so impressed w/ the quality of food and the superior customer service since becoming a customer. superb! Southern Foods is a local food supplier to local business and homes. The selection and quality of meat that they offer is superb! We have always been pleased with the meat we have purchased from Southern Foods. They also offer canned foods, frozen vegetables, and desserts; however, we use them for meat only. Okay Store.... This grocery store has not impressed me since opening. They bought Bi-Lo foods in Greensboro and closed down one day last month to change over. Since doing that the prices on a lot of items I would normally buy there have gone up. They started off doubling coupons up to 60 cents but have since changed and will now double up to .99 cents max of 10 like coupons. There sales have not been that good either when compared to other stores in our area. The staff however at this location has pretty much stayed the same... read more
