Dr Steigerwald was a excellent
Dr Steigerwald is THE BEST I don’t trust my eyes with no one else but him. Having albinism comes with a ton of issues and challenges and a good majority of those can come with eyesight. I was nervous about coming to him because I didn’t think someone would get the genetic makeup of someone like me . I referred from another doctor who specializes with people who has albinism to Dr Steigerwald and I was so glad they did . Now only is he nice and funny but he takes my concerns and issues seriously. I had a terrible experience at Southern Eye Associates in Simpsonville, SC. I specifically told the technician (Amber) twice that I did not want my eyes dilated because I was scared and had to drive home afterward and go back to work. She insisted I “had to” and reassured me that I would be fine to drive — which turned out to be completely untrue.
