So I was traveling from Florida to Missouri. And all of a sudden BAM! My truck decides to take a shit in the middle of no where Alabama. Other wise know to the fine southern folk of Clanton. I found these folks through the motel I was staying at. I called the owner at 10:30 at night and he put me in front of everyone at 7:30 a.m. the next morning got my parts fix my truck got me back on the road by noon. We were traveling from Indiana to Florida on labor day. We blew a tire and our spare wasnt working. We called southern dixie and although he was closed he said he was in the shop doing work and he came to rescue us from off the side of 65 south with no hesitation, took us to his shop and put a tire on for us. He was for sure a life saver considering we had our 4 kids with us and miles away from home.
We are on our way from Langley AFB in VA to Lackland AFB in San Antonio, TX. Our car foot blew a tire on 65S at 8 pm. My husband called and without hesitation Jeff met us at the shop (leaving his steak dinner) to rescue us when all other shops were closed. Jeff put two new tires on our car dolly, helped us load the car back on it and we are now safely back on the road!!! Jeff went above and beyond in customer service!!! He is truly a life saver!!!! Wow! We were having car trouble outside of normal business hours and they stopped what they were doing, came into the shop, and got us back on the road! That's a big deal since we're a family of five & far from home.
Our daughter was on her way home from Auburn today. Her car got a flat on interstate 65 and their was also a wreck so we could get no one to help. We got online and found Jeff and he went and got her and her car and put her a tire on and got her on the road headed to north Alabama ,,even after hours . Just like his own kid ,is how he treated our daughter ,and she was a stranger! These guys are some good folks!!!! Thank you is just not enough!! But we do thank you!!!!!
