We broke down on 65 right before exit 219. Our alternator went out. The man that runs this is a god send. After calling multiple people, he was the ONLY one who would come and get us. Mind you this was after 5pm on a Saturday. He took us to a hotel for the evening and had our van done before check out time Sunday morning. Thank you again! This place is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED
They were our life saviors this past week! We broke down headed home from vacation and they did all they could to get us back on the road as soon as possible! Suggested places to stay and left us their number if we needed anything! Top notch service and care! Best ever! We made it home with no problems!
I had an accident on the interstate on a Saturday. The tow truck took us to their shop, and they fixed us up and got us on our way after shop hours! Amazing service, and would recommend to anybody.

I didn’t plan on ever visiting Southern Dixie Auto Repair, but they saved the day. After being on the road for 12.5 hrs on a spring break drive from Michigan we broke down on the highway. I’m a full time RVer. My toad broke down. These folks towed us in, fixed my problem, and had me back on the road the same day. The price was fair. They are my go to mechanics in Clanton AL.
We have been on the road visiting every state for about 18 months and I thought we had developed an exhaust leak. They put my car on a lift and check for a leak, but couldn't find one. Then the owner let me look at it myself and they rechecked it again with me watching to make sure I was good with them not welding the exhaust. Of coursework if it isn't broke don't fix it, but it is awesome to find a shop that doesn't just do the work anyway to collect. (I wasn't charged for a thing!)
