First met with owner, Brandt. He was friendly and professional- promised a time window to install (6-weeks). They installed at 6 weeks and we love the quality of product used and the installation. Brandt lived up to everything he told us. His wife is also friendly, helpful and professional, and the installation crew was excellent. Everything is great right now - hopefully because we did this, there will be no hurricanes striking this area for awhile.
Brant is a great salesman, very professional, personable and eager to provide his services. Unfortunately, the customer service ends there. We signed a contract in May and the hurricane shutters were installed in September. I continued to call the office asking "can you provide me with an estimated time when we can expect installation?" Answer: NO. Really??? I would expect that they would have some idea, two weeks out, a month out, but no information. Once installed, the inspection failed three times! If I could give 0 stars I would, to think this company was recommended. We paid 1/2 down and was told 90 days install in March we are now in October. I called and was told they would be installing on the 16th my husband called to get a time and they were oblivious and claimed we did not have anyone coming. We were told they were out fixing damaged ones from the storm. Nothing says customer service like that. Sales rep was excellent; installers were very professional; front office is abysmal, except for billing. It's been 6 weeks since our install and we still don't have the ppwk for the county inspection.
Southern Cross recently installed motorized storm shutters at my home. What a fantastic company. Everything went smoothly, product is excellent. Highly recommend them.
