RecommendedI loved that the owners came by to check in on us to make sure everything was ok with the cabin. Everything about the cabin and property is amazing! This is the perfect place to kick back, relax, and just enjoy life! We will be back!

Beautiful well-appointed cabins off 151 in Faber, VA close to Wild Wolf, The Nelson County Saturday Farmer’s Market, Bold Rock, Devil’s Backbone, numerous wineries, and amazing hiking! Lisa and Duane provided a list of all the events happening the weekend we were there, creamer for my coffee, and all the towels/linens my family of four would need during our stay! We loved our visit to Southern Comfort Lakeside Cabin Resort, and plan to return!
RecommendedThis is the most beautiful and peaceful place I have seen. If I could I would come here every weekend. The cabins are sparkling clean, i am leaving refreshed and relaxed. Thank you so much Lisa and Duane for providing a truly relaxing mini vacation. I give this a 10++++.
We really enjoyed our time at the cabin. It’s a great place for relaxing, fishing, hiking, kayaking, and touring the local breweries/wineries. We will return in the near future! Perfect location, many things to do, and the cabins are amazing!

We not only stayed here for a lovely weekend, but had our wedding here as well! The owners could not have been more wonderful, accommodating, and warm people who truly did everything they could to make our experience beyond what we could've hoped for. We received numerous complements on the location from our wedding party, guests, and other vendors! It was a perfect place to spend time with family and friends for a wonderful celebration. I cannot recommend them and their breathtaking property enough.
We will definitely be back! Our cabin was first class! Super clean, nice amenities, and that shower - wow! We enjoyed the private setting and loved fishing in the lake. Owners were very friendly and they have done a wonderful job creating this little slice of heaven!
