We had to bring our older cat in to the Abernathy Rd. Sandy Springs 24-hour location for an emergency late one night last month, and the staff was great from the front desk to the treating vet. Dr. Francesco Leverone was extremely compassionate and explained everything in a common-sense manner. He gave us as much time as we needed to make a decision and to be with our pet at that time. Unfortunately, we made the tough decision to humanely euthanize in the facility shortly after bringing our cat in, but I can't stress enough ... read more

UPDATE: DO NOT GO HERE. THEY WILL DENY ANY WRONGDOING, AND NEVER OWN UP TO THEIR MISTAKES. When my dog needed to go to the er THEY DO NOT ANSWER. When you call and leave messages and call and call again THEY WILL LIE TO COVER THEMSELVES. When your regular vet calls because your pet is dying before their very eyes THEY WILL NOT ANSWER AND THEY WILL LIE LIE LIE THAT THEY RECEIVED NO CALL. Our vet of over ten years would not EVER tell us she called if she didn't follow through. We trust her implicitly. But BluePearl? Do not eve... read more

A Big Thank You to Blue Pearl Pet Clinic We are so thankful to the team at Blue Pearl Pet Clinic for helping save our dog’s life after being diagnosed with Immune Thrombocytopenia (ITP). The diagnosis was overwhelming, but their professionalism and care gave us confidence and hope during a very difficult time. The staff was kind, attentive, and thorough in explaining the treatment options and next steps. They made sure our dog received excellent care and kept us informed every step of the way. It was clear they genuinely c... read more

DO NOT TAKE YOUR PET HERE. Took my kitty to Blue Pearl Hospital in Phoenix. They saw me very quickly and took vera back. In minutes they returned and informed me that this was the cost, and I was told "If you do not pay this, no care or tests will be done". While I know they must be paid, the person should have had some finesse. Vera stayed about 30 hours, and it was $1000 of dollars. They had no diagnoses, they said I could pick up my kitty. I asked for hard copies of all the test and results. When I came to pick up, I was... read more

Told me slight ear infection, later not eating or drinking water. I call them no bedside manners don't even care . Told me I declined their evaluation because I do not have a extra 500.00 dollars. I already paid 650.00 for 3 shots and of course their over priced time! Now I hear they are building a NEW hospital, gee how can they afford that? By over charging people when they are at their weakest. You are very sad for what you do. But I guess that is how you get ahead by screwing other people!

On February 6th I took my cat to the ER at Blue Pearl in Overland Park because she was wobbly and disoriented. She was kept there for more than two hours although she was the only one in ER. The veterinarian told me she could have an ear infection and she needed a complete blood test. At check out, they brought her in the carrier with meds for the ear. I paid $700. While driving home, at a red stop light I opened the carrier and saw her collapsed on a side. At home we realized she was paralyzed on her back legs and was tw... read more

I would strongly suggest that this facility make adjustments to how they treat beloved pets and their owners, especially those undergoing euthanasia. The vet that we had was cold and disinterested. He did not explain the euthanasia process or where it would take place, and we had to ask multiple staff members what was going on. We were shuffled to a total of 4 different rooms. Finally, a different vet was able to explain what the process would be. The most offensive part, however, was the utter lack of respect that we were... read more

I’m not one to typically write bad reviews but in this situation, I feel it is necessary. I brought my pet there as a referral from my primary veterinary. They were not able to properly diagnose my dog. Blue Pearl Animal Hospital’s staff are friendly and kind, but they did not do their diligence when speaking to me about my pet and refused to own their mistake and make it right. We started with an x-ray, it showed there was obviously something in his throat. Whether it was a tumor, or an object was unknown. I think it’s impo... read more
