Recommendedmy step dad has had multiple back surgeries by Dr.Stern so when I knew I needed to go to a specialist for my neck this is who I wanted to see vs. ortho. I never knew disc replacement was an option for me and I waited all this time because I thought I had to have a fusion. Dr Mark Stern recently performed Cervical Disc Replacement Surgery on my C3 and C4. It has only been 13 days since surgery and I was out walking a 3 mile hike in my neighborhood this afternoon. I have full motion in my neck thanks to him. He recommended the relplacement discs vice having it fused. Unbelievable technology and definitely made the right choice for me. Long story short, I was treated poorly not only as a person, but my time. One time I had an appointment and after waiting 4 hours the surgeon never appeared. Never even got an apology. He was rude, and really I felt the only reason he didn't look into my shunt was because of money. I saw Dr. Stern.
