I attended the seeking safety group 3 times and not once did the group counselor welcome me or say hello. She asked for participation in general, but I just did not feel safe enough to speak up for myself in front of a group a strangers after an assault. So I withdrew.
Horrible flaky therapists. Codac services have real gone from bad to worse. I hope they go out of f business. Terrible!
These people couldn't care less what happens to women after they leave a DV situation. They just give you a list of phone numbers to call none of which will help unless you have the right health insurance, if you're facing homelessness because your husband was the main provider of income and you are no longer with your abusive husband, you don't really have money for the resources they are telling you to reach out for.
