The PA, “Rainey” in the ER, is EXTREMELY RUDE, non-professional, and does not care about her patients! She made me feel worse than I did before I ever walked through the door. I feel that she purposefully said things to scare me, and had no bedside manner at all. One of the nurses , “Jana” was also extremely rude and non-friendly, and she fed off of of the P.A. I am sitting in the waiting room as we speak in severe pain. Appendix maybe? If it is, I hope it doesn’t rupture. I’ll probably die sitting here. Should I call 911 from the waiting room? Wonder if it will get me a bed any faster?
My first time here, I'm new to this hospital.. called in advanced I explained to the receptionist on the phone I didn't have insurance through the state I just moved here but being pregnant I needed an appointment asap the lady said it would be fine to bring my insurance card to avoid a copay of 300 dollars she said just bring it in let the receptionist know you're just bringing it in to show you are planning to change your insurance you're just having them aware to bypass the charge.. well I went in today; I spoke to the re... read more

My husband went for consultation today. This is the elevator door, it doesn’t even close! If a child was near there they could be seriously hurt or worse.
Dear SGHS, I want to know who broke my hospital while I was gone. The main reason we returned to the area was excellent healthcare. My husband has been terribly ill (NOT cv19) the past month. 1st time he was admitted for a couple of days. His main problem was not addressed. The 2nd time, he was flown to Jacksonville (because his 1st problem was not addressed). The 3rd time they tried to turn us away until I became belligerent. RecommendedGreat people to work for and great treatment when a patient.
My wife and her mother just had the worst experience there. It has nothing to do with the lockdown protocol. In fact, she checked her mother out at 3:30am and they are now home. Will be going to JAX or SAV tomorrow.
