I am or should I say WAS a 40 year dental phobic. After a horrifying experience at a local dentist, I could not even think about going in for a check-up, cleaning or anything. I took meticulous care of my teeth, however. I brushed 3x per day and flossed 2x per day. But even that can't counterbalance the years.
