I called and spoke with Indya to get detailed information about testing for binocular vision dysfunction. She told me I could seek reimbursement through my insurance if I submitted an itemized bill. My insurance representative was more than willing to help, but they needed the CPT and diagnostic codes to determine coverage. I only write a review if my experience is so profoundly positive that I want to both honor the provider and also encourage others who can benefit as I have from their expertise. I have had a “drifting” left eye since childhood. It has worsened with age and been compounded by multiple eye surgeries and a progressive condition of the cornea. It has been a privilege to work with Dr. Ford and her staff, they are all very helpful and kind... My whole experience with Tulsa Vision Center has exceeded any expectations that I had for vision therapy, I can see and feel the difference that the therapy has made on my vision and in my life since my head injury/concussion. Thank you all very much for the work you do... They truly are amazing!!!!
My husband had major stroke that affected vision. With glasses and weeks of therapy, he is now able to read large print and we are still working on fine tuning this. We are grateful that Vision Development Center is able to help us. Note that we have to do the homework in order for the program to be helpful. It is a commitment, but worth it to be able to read again.
