Beautiful, quaint inn overlooking the South Thompson River with Kentucky-style rooms; a nice place to relax. The air conditioning in the rooms works very well, and the property is quite comprehensive, with bikes available, a nearby hike, and a fitness centre. The staff are friendly, and when I was there, the new chef, Theo, had just begun. The breakfast is quite good, and the dinner was fantastic—I recommend ordering the steak frites! Perfect place for anyone looking to stay in the Kamloops area for a weekend getaway.

We had a lovely overnight stay on our way between Banff and Vancouver. Beautiful River location. Cozy and warm. The new chef is amazing the farmers salad is out of this world!

This may have been a 4-star inn long ago, but it's like me: old and worn out. The entry was particularly unimpressive: poor signage and entry stairs and a ramp that has not been maintained. Plenty of building faults were apparent if one looks at the rooms closely. The bathroom sink and faucet reminded me of the 1970s. Beautiful hotel in a lovely, picturesque setting. The rooms are spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated, with plenty of greenery all around. The staff are extremely friendly and helpful. A special mention goes to the owner, who is often around the hotel, talking to guests and always happy to help. Definitely recommended!
