I’ve never ever met a nice or decent nurse ever. No matter what department I’ve gone in there are all rude and miserable. Makes you want to leave even in a severe emergency. Work on your bedside manner. HORRIBLE!!!!

RecommendedI had my son at Summerlin Hospital and had to stay two nights after a C-section. The staff were attentive and very kind but it was frustrating having to be checked on every hour from 5am to 1pm when you are trying to rest and trying to cope with a new baby’s feeding schedule. I know it is a regimen that needs to be followed but its really hard for the patient to relax when it is nonstop knocking on the door and phone ringing in the room. I was admitted inpatient at the ridge over a year ago. During this time, I was not fed for over three days. The nursing supervisor, Mike, felt the condition that caused me to have limited food options was ~fake~ and said he had never heard of it. I signed a release of information for my immunologist, so they could speak to them and realize this disease is very real. Instead, they chose not to feed me. I would NEVER recommend this hospital to anyone. My Dad was treated at this facility on 3 floors and we were NEVER once called by an MD. He had no family in Vegas (we made them aware) and we called several times a day to speak to a nurse and were told that a doctor would call us, that they call families every other day. When I would demand to speak to an MD, I was told they were TOO BUSY. My Dad was dying and they were too busy to call his family that was hundreds of miles away? RecommendedThe staff that was taking care of me was so WONDERFUL. VIVIAN went above and beyond to make sure I was comfortable. I was in so much pain. The nursing staff was GREAT. Sorry I can’t remember all of their names.
RecommendedThe hospital is located close to our primary Doctor’s office. We had to wait only about 15 minutes to be called inside the ER. The nurses did a great job helping my wife handle her problem. This was her second visit to LRMC. We were both very satisfied.
