Went to Urgent Care for pain . Saw the MD fie less than 5 mins. He ordered labd work and tests. No one spoke to me regarding test results and I was told I could go home. Total cost for approximately 45 min in UC was 35,000.00

Why isn’t STHS paying hazard pay to their health care workers?The White House passed The Heroes Act which provides $200 billion in hazard pay funding for essential workers. Very Disappointed with the service we have been receiving at McAllen Medical Center. STHS on McColl had the absolute best customer service I have received at any ER. The staff (especially the nurse, the ctscan technician and the Dr.) showed lots of concern and care. I definitely recommended this place to all my friends and family. I joked about once I entered the door I was practically already in a bed hooked up to an i.v. 😁

I have never been more disappointed in this healthcare system than I have today with the Ware Rd ER. My spouse's old back injury that resulted in a failed surgery came back with a horrible flare up, he could hardly walk or move without being in agonizing pain. But due to the medications his doctor has him on the staff at this er immediately discriminated against him and didn't even bother to give him an x ray to determine the next best course of action, simply gave him a weak anti inflammatory medication and discharged him. ... read more
I want to thank the staff at MMC Rehab 6th floor. I am currently here after coronary bypass surgery and releasing tomorrow. The team of OT and PT therapists is amazing. I especially want to thank Steve. Katy Campbell, Celenda and Jackie. I was a total wreck when I arrived, but with their patience and expertise they returned me to a functioning independent man once again and gave me the training and tools to continue my improvement.
