Worse group of people I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. Dr. Vandergrift is the BEST thing that office has going for it. I wouldn't take my dog there
I was misdiagnosed. Came in with kissing tonsils and a high fever. I was in a LOT of pain as I could barely get water down. In times like these, something to help kill the horrible pain would have helped. Just swallowing water was difficult and painful. I did not ask nor was I offered anything. I was told to take tylenol. It didn't work. I was misdiagnosed as well and had to come back in, not having any insurance I forked my entire paycheck over for nothing more than amoxicillin. They were great with my son. He had a real bad case of swimmers ear and they took excellent care of him!!!!
The Pawleys Island location is great. I have never had a problem with them. However, I moved to the Surfside location for convenience as well as the allergist, and it has been the worst experience ever. I have asked 3 times for two very important prescriptions that they have yet to call in. I keep getting excuses every time I call in. Secondly, one they filled my allergy prescriptions (different than the ones I have asked for 3 times), they call it into the wrong pharmacy despite me telling them the correct one. Great place. Highly recommend. After nearly 30 years in healthcare Ive seen them all. Fast friendly service. I was walkin on vacation amd felt as though I was at my own PP office.
