1st they shut down walk ins at 3:00 on my last visit 2nd they let us sit for an hour before telling me that they wouldn't treat her because I gave the root cause of the problem instead of the actual ailment that brought us in. I will NEVER go to South Strand Internists on Glenn's Bay Road in Surfside, again and would encourage others to go elsewhere too. when you're sick you dont have time, nor feel like playing their games. I give them a 1 out of 10 stars
I've been seeing Dr. Adler for 15 years. I have been very satisfied with my care. If I could change anything, it would be a shorter wait time once taken back, but that's minor.
I wouldn't recommend it. The wait times are never less than an hour even with an appointment and that doesn't count the time once they put you in a room. I have seen all of the doctors at this location and none of them actually take the time to listen, the doctors are rude, the nurses are the only good thing I can say about this office.
I used to like it until it went to urgent care, now the staff and Doctors just don't seem to care about the patients, the go to meds anymore seem to be a Z pack and a steroid shot,I'm moving to a new doctor next month, I don't recommend South Strand Internet to anyone!
Checked in at 10:13. It is now 11:35 and still haven't seen my physician. "Walk ins welcome " is an absurdity. And I'm a previous customer. Time to move on.
