Always a great stay while here. Rooms and facility are clean. Staff is friendly and helpful. Perfect location, right on the canal. Great views of the bay and downtown. Looking forward to our next stay.
One of the best hotels in Duluth in my opinion. Rooms are affordable, especially considering the view from the 2nd floor rooms. We stayed in a room with the bridge/canal view and it was so breathtaking to walk around to the west side of the building and catch the sunset.
Wonderful room with a fantastic view of the harbor and incoming ships. The room was spotless, the bed super-comfy, the staff eager to help, and the continental breakfast unique and yummy. We plan to come here every year for our anniversary.

My partner and I visit Duluth at least once a year, and we always stay at South Pier Inn! The location is perfect for walking, bars and restaurants, views, beaches, and more! The suites are very nice, they are clean, cozy, and have gorgeous views! The complementary breakfast is really tasty, the cranberry wild rice bread and the pastries are delicious. The lobby has some seating inside and outside, perfect for ship watching. Overall this is an excellent place to stay in Duluth!
