I liked this place a lot. It is very nice inside restrooms are spotless. Gift shop has a great selection. The alligator and turtle section is really nice. Loved feeding them. Enjoyed the walkways saw different kinds of birds.

The rescued turtle. taught to swim. Three missing limbs. Fitted with artificial stabilizer. Amazing.

Great spot for sighting birds. Gators are more a tourist attraction but Big Padre is formidable.
