SMC is so many things. We are a dairy farm: we bottle our own milk, we make our own butter, yogurt, and ice cream. We also offer something very unique: the convenience of home delivery. Shop our online farmers market and have your products delivered to your door. Over the years we have grown to be the largest and most efficient home delivery business in the area. And now, we are not just supporting three generations of our farm family, but nearly 200 local sustainable farm families.

I bought the Coconut Joy ice cream at The Family Room in Laytonsville. Absolutely delicious. Creamy, coconut shreds, with tiny chocolate chips. Not a huge ice cream fan, but I am a major fan and can’t wait to try another flavor 🥰
Ice cream made with their own fresh cream. The best I've ever tasted. Homemade cheeses, treats, milk and half & half in old time glass milk bottles. Family owned and operated. Good people!
What a fun unique experience for you and your family and friends. The creamery is a working dairy farm. A store on the premises offers farm fresh ice cream. The creamery store also carries farm to table meats and country style products like jams, jellies nuts and of course fresh farm milk. In addition they have a few nic nacks. At 4pm every day you can feed a baby cow and the experience is free. Get there early enough so that a baby cow is available. We enjoyed the freshly made ice cream, our daughter had lemon meringue and my husband and I enjoyed monkey butter(banana ice cream with peanut butter swirl) So delicious. You can also buy milk, butter, sour cream and meat snacks to have a picnic. we then walked right across the road and helped feed the calves. It truly was a special day!
