They require an extra test costing $39 for all eye appointments which the receptionist said is not covered by insurance. This is the same test I had when seen by my retina specialist in July and they could easily get my records from GA Retina. That was not acceptable to them so I did not schedule an appointment and will get a refraction done elsewhere. My insurance did cover this testing when I had my eyes checked in July. I am not opposed to having a thorough eye exam but this testing seems redundant and unnecessary.
Everyone at the office is very friendly and make it a pleasurable experience. I appreciate that there is never a long wait (yay for scheduling proper time for appointments and not overbooking!) Dr Eichammer is very patient and kind, not in a hurry and takes the time to answer questions in an understandable way. No one tries to upsell and insurance coverage is explained well. I trust him with my sight!
