Dr O is extremely knowledgeable, kind, and patient. He takes his time to listen to my concerns and he has gotten me on a medicine regimen that has truly been life changing. I love the front staff as well.

Words can not describe how much gratitude I have for South Denver Rheumatology. It upsets and saddens me to see such negative reviews from people who feel they know all about their conditions from Google rather than a specialist. Dr. Oparaeche is ethical and compassionate, and Laura is amazing. When I first started having symptoms of Psoriatic Arthritis, my primary care physician referred me to a different office. I was referred by my Doctor to this office after blood was drawn in a lab. I gave the office a call to get helped and was shocked about how unhelpful and rude the office manager was. I work in healthcare myself and would never speak to or give a patient the run around like they did today. One person said they seen my records and one person said they did not. Proceed with caution. My appointment was the equivalent of “this meeting could have been an email.” I had a referral from my PCP for various issues including hand pain and positive ANA with long term history of hypothyroidism. After speaking with the doctor for maybe 15 minutes, they said there was nothing they can do and my positive ANA is simply from my thyroid. They did not even ask questions about current symptoms or family history, only looking at X-rays, labs, and PCP notes. I really wish they would have denied the ref... read more
