I just adopted a dog from this shelter. She had been loved on and well cared for by the people that work there. She smells amazing. The people were very sweet. So helpful. The facility is very clean. Obviously very well run.
I volunteered this Christmas morning and it was the best experience ever. I feel blessed to have been there. I am in awe and admire Jenifer and her crew. What wonderful work they do everyday of the year for the beautiful animals they rescue. I highly recommend volunteering here. Please help them and the beautiful animals in anyway you can. Adopt!!!!!

I adopted JJ when he just simply got lost and showed up in my home! After 6 weeks of trying to find his owner, someone told me he was adopted from here, but got lost. They worked with me and the initially adoptee and allowed me to keep him! He’s been here just over a year-I love my JJ!
I adopted this beautiful 6 month old German Shepherd pup about two months ago. 5 weeks after adoption she earned her AKC Canine Good Citizen Certification. Now she is my Service Dog in training and is doing fantastic! She already performs one task to help mitigate my disability. And to think that she was only 12 hours away from being put to sleep at the high kill facility in LA County, California. I will forever be in debt to the executive director, Jenifer Alcorn and her associate, Lisa Korell for saving the life of my baby... read more
