The nurses tend to make "odd" comments. Statements such as "you must LOVE WIC"...I have been on for a while because I was a foster mother that then had my own biological children years later. I was there recently again and the blonde nurse walks in "wow theres a lot of children in here"...there were 3, 1 bring an infant. I find the comments only come from the white nurses to be honest which makes for an uncomfortable experience. Unfortunately, my experience at the WIC clinic was NOT positive. I applied for WIC online and had someone reach out to schedule an appointment. Once I arrived at my appointment I waited for an hour and half in the waiting room because they called the incorrect name, only to find out that I didn’t qualify when that should have been something I could have been notified about online when I applied. I rarely give bad reviews, but I was not impressed by the service I received.
Nurse was judgemental and condescending!!
