Sadly the days of getting to speak with someone directly after a request for you to call the office back is NON EXISTENT. During first visit arrived 15 or minutes early to appointment. OFFICE VERY QUIET W 2 OTHER PATIENTS. Filled out paperwork and was seen relatively quickly. HOWEVER Trying to reach the office after visit IS NEAR IMPOSSIBLE. WHY?? I don't want to recommend this hospital for any type of visit and treatment.
Recently scheduled an annual prevent wellness exam (covered 100% by insurance). During the exam, the first thing I'm asked is "how are you doing?". Because I answered the doctor's simple question, they changed that to an outpatient office visit, and immediately billed me an additional $200+ (not covered by insurance). This is extremely concerning that you can't even answer a doctor's question out of fear they'll bill you additionally with not disclosing it. Got a call less than 24 hours before my wife's surgery that they needed half the money for the surgery upon arrival. Calling the surgery center for an hour straight, I never got an answer. I had the south bend clinic switch board transfer me multiple times, no answer. This place is a nightmare that provides no peace of mind and have no concerns for your issues. Billing department is atrocious, and their surgery center apparently can't afford anyone to answer their phones
