In 1991, Mark founded the SBCC and operated it as a second business. In August 1994, the SBCC incorporated with Mr. and Mrs. Tarner as majority shareholders. We now have 10 company-owned stores in northern Indiana and 10 franchised locations thoughout Indiana and Michigan. The factory is located at 3300 W. Took the family to see Santa at the cafe, very friendly Santa. Then went and got a free chocolate at the cafe. I purchased a soda after looking at all the varieties, and their are a lot. Kids played on the playground. South Bend Chocolate cafe, we had a great time.
The staff on the ice cream bakery side are rude and not very helpful.
Great place for a cozy cup of coffee or hot chocolate & dessert. They have great music on the patio too. And a wonderful place to buy some chocolates, of course! Someday I will get there for the chocolate fountain that I've heard about!! What more could you want?
