Absolutely horrible experience at National City Volkswagen. I walked in simply asking for ballpark pricing on an ID.4, and despite explicitly telling them not to run my credit, they went ahead and did a hard inquiry anyway. I left with no pricing, no numbers, and an unnecessary hard inquiry on my credit report. Very predatory and unprofessional. Trying to sneak in ~$13K of markup/add-ons to a Golf R is an insane/borderline predatory position to take and a sure way to prevent any potential sale.
I had the best experience at this location, from the beginning my advisor Jose went above and beyond to ensure I got the car I wanted. He would follow up anytime there was new inventory as well as promotions. Finally got the one, so happy! Request to work with him! The manager Jose was also extremely helpful! Thank you!
Terrible service. We were treated with lies the salesperson would tell us one thing, and the manager something completely different. In the end, they got mad and didn’t even let us take a picture of the car’s price. It was clear they were trying to sell the car based on false information. Very unprofessional and dishonest.
