I am not a mechanic : the 1st time it was serviced. The cars steering locked up and they serviced my mini. The car ran ok and about a month or two the steering locked up again. I took it back they fixed it. The 1st time it cost me 1,400.00 . The second time about 500.00 . So far so good. People are very friendly and pleasant. Very considerate , l was given a new BMW all electric while it was being serviced. The following day they called me to tell me the car is ready.
I stopped taking my car in for service here. Everytime I took my car in, something was wrong or damaged. One time my share tire was missing. Another time, the air bag was missing. Many times I ended up owth dents and or scratches. Service department also doesn't fix things properly. They take stuff apart to fix things, but then when they put it back, it's not the right parts. Was my go-to Mini Dealership for leasing and service — convenient that they have a rental ready (if you’re having service over $500) and the leases can be pre-negotiated or just be if you’re willing to walk away from a car and negotiate a few days later. Let’s just say I wish I would have known about Mini World in Sun Valley for service and parts. Or Import MotorWorx not to far from the dealership. Worst car purchase experience, don’t expect anyone will respond to you from this business. It’s been two months since I purchased I still don’t have my license plate because they didn’t submit their paperwork to DMV, and no one is taking care of this.
I only go here unless I have to the people are mean, nasty racist especially the parts department. I love Universal Mini the people are Nice polite and the parts department is way cheaper. I won a huge settlement from Pfizer I'm buying a new car and parking my Mini. I would never ever buy a new car here or any dealership in California I'm getting my new car from Georgia I get all my cars there way cheaper.
