I had a really sticky situation with my prescription. To summarize I ran out of refills, and was unable to reach my Dr. However, quitting the medication cold turkey is dangerous, so I was concerned. I called and I basically had one pill left for the next day, which I know is my fault, shouldn’t have called last minute (in my defense I think I was notified by pharmacy a few days notice of running out and then the weekend came) I had to get an emergency prescription from the pharmacy. Came to this office, and first off, it's disgustingly dirty. Second, Melissa Mattis is very lazy and does not listen to the patient needs. I requested a pap smear, and she wants to do lab testing for infection. Here we are three months later, I have had a fungal infection since her doctor's visit, and it's now October. Then I received a bill for $144, $77, and $2 for lab work??? Ridiculous!!! Go to another facility immediately....
My main provider is at the MLK location and she is wonderful ( NP. Allison Kanavalov) but today I woke up with an abcess and was in pain so I went to this walk in clinic. I'm seen by NP. James Powers and I basically wasted my entire morning. He doesn't even look at the abcess and describes it as a rash. I tell him I have an abcess and not a rash.
