South African Food Affair catered to our work today. I was a little skeptical, as our catered bi-weekly lunches are usually misses, rarely hits, but I have to say, I was genuinely and pleasantly surprised by the quality of food. The Perri Perri Chicken was very good. Nice mix of flavors, with the spicy heat of the chicken, the subtle, slightly sweet flavor of the beans, and the complimenting yellow rice. The chicken tasted undercooked within the first couple bites. When I inspected every wing I found undercooked meat with pink in every wing with blood still oozing out of one. When contacted through their socials about situation, no answer. Dangerous to eat, can get someone sick
Appeared at local Austin Eid function and offered halal Peri Peri chicken, rice bowls. A bit spicy but enjoyed.
Tried for the first time at Texas Pumpkin Festival. Exquisite flavor. I had the Curry Ckn and Peri Peri on pita. Highlight of the day. 😋
