The Sourdough Mining Company Restaurant opened on Mother's Day of 1984, and was originally intended as a small barbeque house. No sonner were the doors open, than visions grew...and with that so did the menu and the name. No longer Sourdough Barbecue, we remain a locally owned and family run establishment catering to the needs of other families. Went to this restraunt for a family night out, the kids loved the dessert bar and the food was great. A little on the expensive side but well great for a special occasion.
Okay... I would say it is just okay, nothing more. It is fun for the kids, but other than that the food was just okay and there was so much of it. I don't know if the ice cream for free is a plus, since that is all the kids will want. We have not gone back, since it is out of the way for us.
