worst experience ever – This might have been the worse experience at a restaurant I have ever had. I should have known when they didn't have enough menus(4) when we arrived. It took 15 minutes for anyone to even come and we were one of two tables in the room! We never received napkins and had soup with no soup spoons served. When we asked for spoons, we watched the waiter come out to bring bread and water to two other tables.Still no spoons after 10 minutes! They leaped over tall buildings – Jamie Scott and his staff provided us with an amazing rehearsal dinner for 60 people after not havimg electricity for 4 days due to a power feed problem. Jamie told us not to worry he would make it happen and he did. The food was outstanding and staff was very accommodating. It was exactly want the bride and groom wanted. Thank you very much.
Embarrassed and Disappointed – I am so sad to write this. I was assured by Jaime, the manager, that my little surprise dinner for my Mother would be perfect. I never expect perfect, but I expect an attempt to be made. Short version: the room wasn't set up at all when guests arrived, menu was not ready, service was terrible (very polite and sweet, but clueless). MOST AMAZING RESTAURANT EVER!!!!!! – SERIOUSLY, THE FOOD IS EXCEPTIONAL, THE STAFF WAS SIMPLY SUPERB, ESPECIALLY THE BUSSERS AND THE FOOD RUNNERS, THEY WERE PROMPTLY EFFICIENT AND DELIGHTFUL. THE VIEW WAS ROMANTIC AND REALLY SET AN AMBIANCE. THIS IS JUST THE GREATEST DINING ESTABLISHMENT I HAVE EXPERIENCED IN MY 75 YEARS OF HARRASSING DINING ESTABLISHMENTS.EVEN MY DISHES WERE SQUEAKY CLEAN THANKS TO THEIR INCREDIBLY DISHWASHERS. Great Food, with a tremendous view – I went to catered event in the summer and found that it was average at best. They have such a wonderful view and I'd been hearing good things about them, so I recently went back to give them another chance for dinner, and I have to say I was quite impressed with the turnaround. The food was excellent (which I heard is due to a new chef), and the waitstaff had seriously improved. Soundview - The only good thing – I went to see how the restaurant was, after having been the Tiffany House for so many years. Bamm! Terrible disappointment. The food was not prepared well, and my steak was like rubber. The owner, a grungy-looking guy, apologized but made no offer to mitigate the situation. Bring back John and Nancy and the Tiff!!
