We went there for our cats first annual check up today and they were very personable. they made my cat feel special, a priority and was so great to her. The price is a little pricey ... more than what I was quoted, but the service almost made it worth it.
Staff and doctors are amazing.
Last Tuesday our dog was bitten by a snake...it was 5 pm. I asked if we could bring her in since they are 3 min from our house. They said 'NO, we're leaving in 10 minutes, you'll have to drive to Pensacola ER" (25 miles away). I was very disappointed since they had told us previously that they had the anti venom. Luckily our vet (Gulf Breeze Animal Hospital) in Gulf Breeze stayed late and took care of her!
We love Dr. Pharr and Dr. E. Dr. E did surgery on Angel for two different kinds of cancer and was very thorough and knowledgeable. She is still doing good almost 9 mos later. Dr. Pharr has seen our boys Marley and Harley. She is so sweet, knowledgeable and compassionate. I love that she believes in trying to use natural meds as much as possible and that she is always responsive when we need her for Harley. Hard to believe they couldn't clear my dogs anal glands...they don't have technicians ???? The person at the front desk this morning was totally rude. The new vet we saw last month had hard time taking blood from both dogs (never had that problem in past they are 15 yrs old) and then had to re-do one when he put the blood in the wrong vial!
Absolutely the best veterinary we have ever taken our sweet Pit Bull to. Sound side treated him for cancer two times and performed all of his regular vet requirements with loving open arms and extraordinary service. Our Moses was less of a pet and more of a family member and we had no reservations what so ever leaving him with them because we knew he was in good hands. Thank you Sound Side!
