We replaced six windows and our front door in our 1920s home. We thoroughly enjoyed working with them. From the sales, to admin and the installer, we were very pleased. One big selling point was they installed custom made inserts so all interior trim was untouched. Just the window in a frame is new. It’s not as lasting as some types out there and required us to paint and stain them. Best choice for us and a good price.
Great experience start to finish including choosing the right product, the estimate, scheduling and install. Their showroom is helpful to see the windows and doors in person. Our old house framing complicated our window install but they were proactive in following up to make sure everything was just right. We've hired Sound View twice now and wouldn't hesitate to use them again in the future.
Come here for quality mansplaining. I had previously been helped by a Sound View employee at another location and had a great experience. Not the case at the Lake City branch. Jeff helped me and I was shocked how badly I was talked down to. I had a really bad experience with Sound View. After working for weeks with them to purchase some doors, they then tell me, without any explanation, they can't support my project. I called their door distributor who was equally confused as to their behavior. The distributor was terrific in helping me move forward.
