Dr. S.Pulluru doesn't listen nor she cares. I went to see her on two different health issues. I wasted my money on useless prescription she gave me. I'm very disappointed with her diagnosis and not coming back to her.
Dr. Pulluru always ran late. She don't llistlen and always In a hurry to leave. In February of 2012 I had been diagnosed with protein in my urine by a different Dr during a federal D. O. T. Physical. I was advised to report this to my family practitioner. Managed to get an appointment in mid March. Dr Pulluru the. Scheduled a complete physical in October of 2012. I was made to see Dr. Pulluru for a sinus infection and then she said I needed to schedule my annual physical and I should do it with her because she likes to spend around 2 hrs with her new patients during these visits. Based on that I scheduled my physical with her. She was an hour and a half late and then told me she had a procedure scheduled for her next patient and she'd rather not be late because she preferred to do the procedure than to work with me. I saw this doctor for nearly two years for severe pain in both legs. She misdiagnosed me on two occassions; with one being life threatening, and did not order necessary follow up tests. The pain was diagnosed by another physician (that she did not refer me to) and it was a simple, common disc issue in my lower back and she couldn't even diagnose something that common and I was in severe pain for 2 years because of her lack of knowledge and lack of compassion.
I really like Dr. Pulluru but due to the nature of the large practice she is with she doesn't get to spend a ton of time with her patients- She is also very popular and it's difficult to schedule an appointment with her- but once you do get in- she's amazing, warm, compassionate, knowledgeable- can't say enough good things about her- just wish she'd go to private practice so you don't have to deal with the dumb #$%& DMG group- they're terrible.
Dr. Pulluru does not work with patients or call their PCP upon request when she is on call to verify orders that the PCP wants to do. When called from the hospital when she is on call, she does not call back in a timely manner. It took over 2 hours for her to call the nurse back to get admission orders since it was after hours and the PCP was no longer available. Dr. Pulluru deferred the orders to a pulmonary doctor even though the PCP was the doctor that ordered the direct admit to the hospital.
My biggest complaint was that when I visited Dr. Pulluru for the first time I felt she didn't spend enough time with me as a new patient. Because of this, I chose another doctor closer to home.
