I took my lady here for her birthday recently. It's located on the lower level, and has a rustic old feel to it...sort of like stepping to a speakeasy. Very pleasant atmosphere. Chef Jerry Johnson and his associates went out of their way to make it a great experience for us! Everything tasted fantastic, and we had the chance to try a wide variety of the restaurant's specialties, all of which were good enough to order again on a future trip. I'll certainly be back.
Sotto is one of my favorite places in Cincinnati but tonight's experience topped the charts. My favorite dish is usually the tartare, but they have taken it off the menu for the season. I ordered the bolognese which was amazing. Halfway through the meal, our waiter Joe showed up with a treat. I had an amazing birthday celebration with my sons and granddaughter! My granddaughter even got to make pasta! Everything was beyond wonderful and the Sotto team is top notch! I felt completely spoiled! They even gave me a birthday card. It was like being in Italy and not having to leave the city. Bravo to this outstanding team ⭐️ — with Ryan Joseph Allen.
