She is caring, through, listens intensely, keeps good records, follows through.
Dr. Soto-Aguilar is the most compassionate physician I have ever been to. She cares about the whole person. The visits are long because she is so thorough. If you want to have a rheumatologist who really cares about you, she is the one to see. I don't mind driving further for the medical care I receive there.
She is so nice and really cares about her patients. She will even fight the insurance companies to fight for approval of needed medications. All I can say is that she is wonderful.
I do not recommend this doctor if you have moderate to severe chronic pain/unknown autoimmune disease/disease or condition. I have Fibromyalgia with ongoing chronic pain. I have seen more specialists in my life than most people see in 3 lifetimes. I have never had such a hard time getting calls back, getting communication, getting information and prompt blood work in my life. I tried for several days to get a call back from a nurse. This was the most though medical exam I have ever had. DR Soto-Aguilar had studied my records and history. She rechecked everything and was amazingly knowledgeable. DR has a very pleasant no nonsense attitude. I would recommend her to anyone.
